Watch this. Maggie Gallagher is the President of the National Organization for Marriage. Towards the end of the segment, she provides a particularly telling quote:
“[I]f the law teaches the next generation that there isn’t anything unique about unions of husbands and wives, a lot of things are going to change for a lot of children…[M]arriage will change and it will change for everyone…” (emphasis mine)
This confirms my argument from a previous post. Gay marriage helps expose the lie that married couples are unique and deserve special status.
